Removal of ear wax is no longer offered as an NHS service. I offer a full diagnostic service with micro-suctioning if indicated as the appropriate treatment.
If no treatments are needed, I will advise accordingly and only a consultation fee is payable.
Microsuction is one recognised method of earwax removal and is widely used in ear care settings. It allows wax to be removed under direct visualisation and may be suitable when irrigation is not appropriate.
I use specialist medical equipment and my training, for medical practitioners only, is accredited by the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists.
My clinic is fully equipped with modern diagnostic and micro-suction equipment.
